Through the eyes and ears of its Fellows, the Institute has collected 90 years of world history, in the form of newsletters submitted as part of their Fellowships.
Use the search bar to the right to search for ICWA Newsletters by location, topic, or keyword.
In addition, the complete historical collection of Institute of Current of Current World Affairs is available to researchers at the Columbia University Library.
A finding aid online for the ICWA records can be viewed here. Note, that you have to click on “View all” under Container List on the left margin to see the contents list. This is only a description of the materials, researchers need to visit the Library to view the documents. The library is open to the public Monday-Friday, 9am-4:45pm (Mondays during the school year 9am-7:45pm).
Users will find most of the information on the webpage useful for planning a visit, registering, ordering boxes from off-site, and other logistics. Here is the link from the main page about registering to use the collections.
Users can email the main RBML reference services at: firstname.lastname@example.org to request copies.
