Sabrina Ochoa is a lawyer and author on international law and human rights issues. As an ICWA fellow based in the Philippines, she will report on the impact of the International Criminal Court's prosecution of crimes against humanity committed during the country's "war on drugs," with a focus on the victims of atrocity crimes and their broader impacted communities. Previously, Sabrina worked with non-governmental advocacy organizations based in South Africa, Japan and Latin America, and studied abroad in South Korea. Born and raised in South Florida, she holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
