Kay Dilday is a journalist and New York-based lawyer at the New York Legal Assistance Group, where she supports modest-income clients at NYC Health & Hospitals. Her ICWA fellowship in France and Morocco from 2006 to 2008 focused on relationships between French and North African immigrants in both regions. A former editor for The New York Times opinion section, Atlantic Media and Essence magazine, Kay is originally from Mississippi, and holds a JD and master’s degrees from City University of New York and a bachelor’s from Tufts University.
