Mahli Knutson – China

Robert and Patricia Levinson Fellow Mahli Knutson is spending two years in China examining changes in family life and their impact on the concept of childhood, community care and decisions families make about raising children and providing for aging parents. A graduate of Middlebury College with a master’s degree from Harvard University, Mahli was an executive board member for China’s Children International and a Fulbright fellow in Taiwan. She was adopted from China and grew up in Vermont.
