Leena Khan is a lawyer and international development practitioner specializing in corporate, immigration and political asylum law. As an ICWA fellow (Pakistan, 2001-2003), she explored myths and realities of women living under Muslim laws in Pakistan through their identity, religion, law and customs, as well as activism. She later worked in Pakistan and Cambodia on a range of human rights issues, including securing land rights for marginalized communities and analyzing the gender impacts of discriminatory legislation. Leena holds an MA in public administration in development practice from Columbia University and a JD from the University of San Diego.
