Malia Politzer is an investigative journalist at Finance Uncovered, a UK-based nonprofit focused on financial transparency and global accountability. She was part of a team with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists that produced the Pandora Papers investigation. During her ICWA fellowship in India and Spain in 2013–2015, she reported on key migration routes through Morocco and Spanish enclaves in North Africa. She was a Stabile Fellow at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and holds a master’s in investigative and multimedia journalism and a bachelor’s in liberal arts from Hampshire College. Her reporting has appeared in outlets including The Wall Street Journal-Asia, Foreign Policy and the Migration Policy Institute’s The Source.
