Stephen B. Maly

The founder and former executive director of Helena Civic Television, Stephen Maly is currently engaged in a multi-disciplinary project called the Global Civics Initiative and serves as vice chair of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Montana State University. As an ICWA fellow in 1989–1991, he studied the ethnic and cultural “nations” of Canada. Author of the Freshpolitique newsletter on Substack, Stephen was previously a research analyst for the Montana state legislature and a board member of the World Montana Center for Diplomacy and Leadership.
