We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Emma Pike as ICWA’s Rydell-Frisa Nuclear Disarmament Education Fellow. She’ll begin her fellowship next spring.
Emma Pike | Nuclear Disarmament | 2027-2029
Emma will be based in Japan and the United Kingdom, researching nuclear disarmament education and visiting key global institutions. She’ll examine how educators, practitioners and institutions conceive of and implement disarmament education, and how learners experience it in practice. Emma studied at the University of St. Andrews and holds master’s degrees from Columbia University and the UCL Institute of Education in London. Previously, she worked in Geneva at the advocacy Lex International.
