Andrew T. Weil is a pioneering expert on integrative medicine who dedicated his fellowship in Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica and the United States in 1971–1975 to studying drug use, medicinal plants and alternative methods of treating disease. Andrew is the founder and director of the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, founder and chairman of the Weil Foundation, founder and co-chairman of Healthy Lifestyle Brands and cofounder of True Food Kitchen. After earning a bachelor’s degree from Harvard, where he studied biology and ethnobotany, he went on to graduate from Harvard’s medical school and author numerous books on health, well-being and consciousness. He is the sponsor of ICWA’s current Andrew Weil Fellow Rowland Robinson.
