Former Fellow Jonathan Guyer (Egypt, 2015-2017) was featured in a article for the New York Times by Liam Stack. In the article, Guyer is quoted, saying Naji al-Ali “has this incredible crossover appeal because he was really an independent thinker and a staunch critic of all authority. Whoever you are, there is something in Naji al-Ali’s work for you.”
