World Policy Journal: Amelia Frank-Vitale on Honduran migrants

“I came to Honduras to get a first-hand look at what is driving people to flee this country in steadily increasing numbers,” former fellow Amelia Frank-Vitale (Mexico, 2012-2014) writes in World Policy Journal. “In the process, I’ve been able to see how those who were sent back negotiate life after deportation.”

Amelia’s June piece is especially relevant to the Central American caravan currently making national political news. An expert in Central American migration, Amelia was walking with the group until recently.
