ICWA alumnus Kendal Price (South Africa, 1981 – 1984) has found evidence he says raises ethics questions about the wife of Supreme Court Justice John Roberts, Jane Sullivan Roberts, who has made millions of dollars recruiting lawyers to leading law firms, some with business before the court. Kendal’s letters to Congress and the Justice Department in December say that may present a conflict of interest.
A lawyer who lives in Boston, Kendal has spent much of the past year working with a legal team to bring about his action, which has prompted a series of news and opinion pieces.
“One of the most gratifying things to come out of this is a sense of fulfilling my ICWA mission of 40 years ago,” Kendal says. “Do something of value for our country with your knowledge from another place. That is most definitely a significant part of what has driven me for years now.”
