France hosts a summit of regional leaders to tackle the rising number of deaths at the hands of armed groups in the Sahel region of West Africa. ICWA fellow Hannah Armstrong (North Africa, 2012-2014) joins a panel discussion on Al Jazeera’s “Inside Story” program to discuss the meeting and effectiveness of recent campaigns to stem the violence.
